The Bourgeois and Proletarians was a section of the Communist Manifesto by the famous Karl Marx. The proletarians are the working class and the bourgeois are the rich and powerful people in this class system. These two classes were shown in the 1971 movie Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory.
The plot behind this movie is about 5 lucky children who win a contest which gains them access to a wondrous chocolate factory. The Proletarians in this film would be both Charlie Bucket and the Oompa Loompas, and the bourgeois are the other four children who won the contest. The Oompa Loompas represent the low wages and manual labour of the working class, Charlie represents the poor people and the other four children represent the snotty rich people. In this manifesto it states that the proletarians will rise to power and the bourgeois will fall. This happens in the film because every time the rich children do something because they want more, it goes wrong and they have to leave. In the end charlie is the only one left and wins the whole chocolate factory. So just as Marx said in his manifesto, the rich will fall and the poor will come into power.
