Also gay rights at this time just started to come into play which is very important. Another very important lie is the last one because Bush used to be an alcoholic. So not only is this a shot to his ideals but also right to his character. It was very bold of Pink to do so. This compares to songs during the Vietnam era because artists directly attacked the government and the soldiers like Pink is doing right now. They dont jump around the topic and speak in metaphors to which the listener does not understand what the sing is about, but rather state it directly and boldly attacks the opposing side
